come and listen

come and listen

I took this picture this morning at sunrise.  Woke up at 4:30am and couldn’t fall back asleep so I decided to get my day started.  I’m calling this picture “Come and Listen,” not sure why…it just seems to fit.

Inspired

Check out this link. I was really INSPIRED when I watched this. It’s fresh!

Galatians: A Reading

That’s What He Wants From Me

I wrote this song for the Children’s Ministry at church. They are doing a series on “loving God’s creation” for the month of June. Also, they’re VBS-like family event called, Family Jam, is themed around the same thought of “loving God’s creation”. They’ll be playing this song every Sunday morning for the children and every night at Family Jam. Hope you enjoy this bluesy rendition about loving God’s creation.

new camera

So, because of Christmas money, birthday money and some money I’ve received from some design work I’ve done–I made a huge investment.  A couple of weeks ago, I gave in and bought a Nikon D90 dslr camera.  So far, I love it and can’t wait to do some more photography stuff as well as test its HD video functions.  Here are a couple of initial pictures I’ve taken.

a quote out of an email I just wrote

Something I’ve been struggling with lately is…me pressuring myself into feeling like I have to be the “savior” of everything and everybody.  The quote below is something I just wrote in an email as a reminder to myself of who God is and who’s I am.  Thought I’d share it with you–I hope it’s a good reminder for you too.

“He’s already the Savior of mankind and the One who creates out of nothing and I am His.”
